At St Therese's we take child protection very seriously and it is always at the forefront of our minds. This is particularly important during this time of lockdown ensuring our students are safe at school and online. As a staff we are doing our best to remain connected with our students and offering continued support to them and their families.

We trust that families continue their part in supporting and supervising their children at home whilst using digital tools to learn and remain connected. As the banner image promotes, child protection is everyone's business whether it be physical, mental, digital or spiritual care.

Our Sale Diocese also recognizes this importance and initiated a Child Safety and Protection Poster Competition that some of our students participated in during our short return to school this term. This competition is linked to the National Child Protection Week commencing early September. The theme of this year's campaign is:

Every child, in every community, needs a fair go.

The campaign continues to emphasise that: To treat all of Australia’s children fairly, we need to make sure every family and community has what kids need to thrive and be healthy.

Please enjoy some of student entries for the poster competition for 2021.

In addition to these poster creations, students have also been applying their artistic skills and talents in Visual Arts.

Here are some of their great creations.

Have a great week ahead and please make contact with your child's teacher or a member of leadership if you need any support or assistance.

Stay safe and well.
