Book Fair
When: Friday 13th, Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th August
Time: 8.30-9am and 3–3.25pm.
Where: Library
Students will be reviewing the books this week and writing down their wish list. They will then be able to purchase books from their wish list during the Book Fair. If you are unable to make it to the Book Fair, you can purchase the books online. The website is on the back of the wish list.
During the Book Fair, please QR code when entering the library. We ask that everyone be patient as they wait and only one parent per family may enter the library as restrictions on numbers will be in place.

Book Week Parade
When: Term 3, Thursday 26th August
Theme: Old Worlds, New Worlds , Other Worlds
Where: This year due to Covid 19 we are limited to certain areas. We will leave the school at around 9:20am and walk down Woodhead St, Davis St and onto Burbridge Rd where we will walk past the Retirement village. Then we will walk back up Burbridge Rd towards the beach, past the West Beach Shopping Centre and on to the Kindy where we will collect the Kindy kids. We will then continue across the reserve and school oval to the hall.
We ask all parents to be out of the school grounds by 9.15 so the children can assemble on the blue court. We also ask that everyone keeps their distance and please do not approach the children while we are on this walk. Photos should be taken from a distance. Unfortunately parents, relatives and visitors are NOT to be on the school premises while we are in the hall after our walk. Photos will be taken and on display around the school. I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for helping to keep everyone safe.

Football Star Clinics
Football Star clinics to be held every Monday after school until the end of the term with Adelaide United Captain Stefan Mauk. This is Football Star Academy’s most popular football (soccer) program. Perfect for players just starting out or for those looking to further develop their football skills. Suitable for boys and girls aged 5-12 years.
What you will learn:- Learn, explore and enhance your football skills
- Technical & Tactical skill development
- Physical & educational components relevant to football - A great way to socialise and meet new friends
What you will need to bring:Appropriate footwear, your Football Star Academy uniform (not required for trialists), a hat if it’s sunny, water bottle, a positive attitude!

Australian Sports Camps - School Holiday Program
Australian Sports Campsare running a 3-day Sports programs in the area this upcoming school holidays. Please see the flyer for more details.
Cheerio Netball Club
Now recruiting players for the upcoming summer season.
All players welcome! Intermediate and Juniors (ages 7-17) Seniors (ages 18 and above).
We are also running a free netball clinic for children aged between 7 and 13 years wanting to improve their skills.

Western Little Athletics Club
Western Little Athletics Club are holding a FREE Come and Try Little Athletics on Friday 17th September at 6pm.
This invitation is open for all children between the ages of 3 and 16 years of age.
Children will learn the fundamental skills of Run, Jump and Throw. With this year being the Olympics year, we hope there are many inspired potential little athletes who would like to give Athletics a go!
