Easter Raffle

Don’t forget to buy your Easter Raffle tickets on QKR to win one of our fabulous hampers.  We already have prizes but always need more, so please bring along any Easter donations to the Community Hub next Thursday 30th and Friday 31st of March to drop in the baskets.

 

Easter Egg Guessing

Grade 6 are prepped and ready for your egg guesses.  Outside Grounds Cafe from Monday 3 April to 6 April from 8.30-9.00am - Don’t forget your gold coin donation for each guess.

 

Mother’s Day Lunch - Save the Date

 

Tickets will go on sale on QKR on 31st March and are priced at $135 per person.  

 

This is an all-inclusive with a two course sit down lunch with award winning food, all your drinks (soft drinks, sparkling, wine, coffee and teas), brilliant entertainment from Top Dog artists and our usual silent auction and raffle.  It’s going to be a lovely day out so please do join us.  And yes, there will be buses.  Below are all the things you need to know about the event.

What is included in the ticket price?

The $135 price is all inclusive, with a two-course sit down meal (award winning no less) with all drinks included (sparkling, wine, beer and soft drinks). It also includes top notch live music from one of Melbourne’s most sought after duos, Rooster, provided by Top Dog Entertainment. There will also be Silent and Live Auctions and the best raffle in town.

 

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets for the event, buses and raffle can be bought on QKR. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 31st March and will close on Friday 28th April - one week before the event.

 

Can I pay less if I’m only having soft drinks?

The venue only runs events on an all inclusive basis and we have been given a great deal.

 

How many tickets are available?

We are limited to 150 so get in quick!

 

I have dietary requirements. Will this be catered for?

Yes - all dietary requirements will be catered for. Please include details at the time of booking on QKR.

 

What is the dress code?

Dress to impress - and don’t forget your dancing shoes!

 

How will we get to the venue?

Like last year we are providing buses to take us there and back. Two buses will depart from the Male Street school entrance at 11.45am sharp, so you need to be at school to alight the bus at 11.35am. For the return, those wishing to get back for school pick up, a bus will depart from the venue at 3.15pm and drop you back to Male Street. The second bus for those remaining will depart from the venue at 4.10pm to the after party at Belucci’s on Martin Street. Buses will cost $20 return. Bargain!!

 

Is there parking at the venue?

There is very limited parking at the venue and some of the spots will be reserved for the band and other suppliers on the day, so there is no guarantee you’ll find a spot. There is street parking around Ripponlea. We recommend booking the bus instead.

 

Will there be an after party?

Absolutely, there will be. For those wishing to party on, missed out on a lunch ticket or who are returning to the party after school pick up, we will be at Belucci’s Bar on Martin Street, Brighton from 4.15pm. There will be great drinks and food available to purchase.

 

How to book a table?

Tables are in groups of 10 people, so if you have a group of 10 then nominate a person as table captain and include this person’s name at the time of booking on QKR.

 

What happens if I don't have a full table of 10?

If you have less than 10 people, as with the table of 10, nominate a person as the table captain and include this person’s name at the time of booking on QKR. You can include what year level you would like to sit with and we will aim to place you/join you with another partial table with others from your year group where we can. Don’t worry though, as there will be lots of mingling around tables and open areas to chat to old friends and new.

 

How do I pay on the day for the silent auction or raffle?

We will have an EFTPOS machine there so card payments only.
