It is my pleasure to Congratulate the February Aussies of the Month. Congratulations to Pippa Larsen in Fisher, Olive Tetley-Field in Torrens and Jabali Mzee in Mellor!
At LNPS, Aussie of the Month recipients are chosen using success criteria that are aligned with our school values. Students need to demonstrate the school values every day to be considered for the award.
There are three students chosen each month for the award. There is one recipient chosen from the Early Years, Torrens and Fisher. Teachers from each section of the school are responsible for nominating students each month.

Please read further below to find out what teachers had to say about our amazing Aussies of the Month.
'Jabali is a model student exhibiting the LNPS learner qualities and school values with sincerity and pride. He is polite to both adults and his peers and approaches all aspects of learning with a positive attitude and willingness to accept a challenge. We are very proud of you, Jabali. You deserve to be acknowledged and receive this significant award.'

'Olive always comes to school with a positive attitude and a smile on her face every day. She consistently aims high and is a kind and caring member of T16. Olive is a pleasure to teach, who truly deserves to be the Aussie of the Month.'

'Pippa is a fantastic member of Fisher who consistently demonstrates our school values and learner qualities. She always has a positive attitude and strives for her personal best in all learning areas. She is a great role model to her peers, always helping and looking out for others. Well done on a really successful start to your senior year Pippa, keep it up!'

Last week I met with all Student Ambassadors to once again congratulate them on their achievement and to present them with their student badges.
We will be having our first meeting this Friday and I am really excited to work with all Ambassadors to achieve positive outcomes for LNPS. A highlight from last year included Student Ambassadors responding to our school's Well-being and Engagement Data by organising an Anti-Bullying Poster Competition. I can't wait to see what amazing things our 2023 Ambassadors will achieve.
On Tuesday 21 March, LNPS celebrated Harmony Day.
Harmony Day provides us with an opportunity to celebrate Australian Multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community.
It was great to see classes working together to create art to commemorate the day. It was also fantastic to see many students dressing up in traditional clothes.
Thank you to everyone who brought a gold coin donation to support the charity 79 Exons. We raised $443!
Every Tuesday and Thursday in the library we host a card club.
Please feel free to bring card collections such as footy cards, Pokemon cards etc.
There is no trading of cards allowed. We hope to see you there!
ACTIVE LUNCH!
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday there is Active Lunch inside the gym during lunchtime.
