SPS Playgroup News

Another wonderful fortnight at Playgroup and we are growing in numbers, giving the children lots of opportunity to play with other children of similar ages. It is also wonderful to see the parents enjoying each other’s company as well.

There had been plans to spend some time outside, but this has not happened as the kids have been having such a nice time with each other that we have not wanted to disturb them, so we have stayed in the Playgroup room. 

So many things were done by all! The kids have continued to have fun with the coloured rice, pouring and filling containers; this week we had the animals in the rice. They have made pasta necklaces to take home, played with the doll house and puppets, easel painting, drawing, pasting, playdough and, of course, the kitchen one week, then a tent and picnic the next.

It has been fantastic seeing so many kids at Playgroup, with another new face today. If you have any interest, please feel free to pop in and say "Hi".
