Attendance Policy: Our ultimate goal is to maximise time at school for each and every student. This policy outlines DE expectations and BBPS processes for recording and following up student absence.

Mobile Phone Policy: Please note, this policy includes expectations for the use / disabling of smart watches during school hours. 

Photography, Filming and Recording: This policy details the use of images within our school community and on public domains such as our website and social media. Please make sure your Media Release Compass form, completed at the start of each year, is up to date. 

BBPS asks that parents/carers, students and invited guests who photograph, film or record school activities only do so for their own personal use and do not publish the images in any form, including on social media, without the prior consent of persons whose children also appear in the images.

For any external collection requests (such as Media or DE), parental consent will be sought for the specific event. 

Uniform Policy: One of the ways we show school pride is through our school uniform – we have a range of options for students to wear, and ask that you support them to continue to wear appropriate socks, jewellery and nail polish (clear only) and school hats. Further details in this policy. Don’t forget to visit our wonderful Second Hand Uniform near the hall if you need any items.

Bikes and Scooters Policy: Please check this carefully for recommendations around safety when riding and scooting to and from school. We ask that bikes and scooters are only ridden outside of school grounds, and walked to the bike shed when on school grounds. Due to a few years hiatus of our Bike Education Program (due to COVID), this year our Grade 4-6 students will all be participating at the start of term 2 – details shared through a Compass Event – lots of parent helpers required, so please follow the prompts to confirm your availability.
