Early Years

Lower Years

The 3/4s shared some highlights from their excursion with Fisheries Victoria.

My favourite activity was the casting. My partner and I thought we caught a fish but we didn't! - Archie

During fishing Toby and I were teasing little fish and they bit the bait but we didn’t catch them. - Kayden

I learned how to cast the fishing line out and I nearly caught one because it ate the bait, but not quite. - Nimrat

I learned how to catch fish by holding the fishing rod and the string. When you cast it you have to let go of the string. I didn’t know we had to put bait on but the people taught us how you put it on the fishing rod after our first cast. - Zeldah

Upper Years

It has been a very busy week for our Unit.  On Wednesday we were finally able to model and show each other the clothes we had designed during art.  We held our very own Fashion Parade.  It was so much fun.

On Thursday we went to the lake and took part in different fisheries activities.  Fishing was the most popular activity and I really enjoyed learning how to cast the line.  Unfortunately, I didn’t catch anything. (Noah B).  Mason enjoyed the walk/run around the lake.

Today we celebrated Harmony Day and we came dressed in our National Costume.
