We have been so busy in Green Team, and lots has happened!
We finally got our beautiful chickens last Thursday (a big shout out to Talking Hens Merricks for their advice and care). They seem to have settled in nicely and are enjoying nibbling away at weeds and looking at the kids’ faces through their coop.
Make sure you put in name suggestions at the office in weeks 7 and 8 if you would like to do so!
We also hosted our Clean Up Australia Day on Wednesday, the 8/3/23, which was a big success. The kids loved going around with buckets, gloves, tongs and bags and collecting as much rubbish as they could find. We will be presenting our findings at an upcoming assembly and try and find ways to reduce our litter in the weeks to come. Watch this space…
