Summer sports - Cricket & T-Ball at Romsey

Two teams from Newham took part in the interschool summer sports programme at Romsey Recreation reserve. 

The T-Ball team were situated on the main oval and they played against Hesket, Bolinda, Candlebark, Romsey and St Mary's. They won 2 of their games. They had a fantastic time and were great sports and role models!

The Cricket team were on the Romsey Primary oval and they played against Candlebark, Woodend and Romsey. Having been beaten by Candlebark in their first meeting, Newham faced off against them again in the final for the flag. It was close! In the end it came down to the number of wickets taken and 3 more runs!
