Prep, Year 1 and Year 2

Happy St Patrick’s Day from the Junior School!

Last Friday the Junior School celebrated Patrick’s Day by reflecting on why we are lucky, reading the story 'How To Catch A Leprechaun' and creating our own leprechaun traps. We used the Science Inquiry Skills to plan a design, collect resources and work as a team to create a trap. Although we didn’t catch any leprechauns this time, they did leave gold coins for the students as a reward for all their effort!

Year 3

In Year 3, we had a huge week doing our first NAPLAN Assessment.  We spoke at length that this was just one test, at one moment, on one day looking at one small thing that we know.  All Year 3s were absolute superstars and we couldn’t be prouder of them. This is us celebrating completing one of the assessments!
