AFL Visit

Last week, as part of the pre season Sydney Swans regional tour in conjunction with the AFL North West - NSW we were very lucky to have Jacob Konstanty and Khobi Devine visit St Xavier's. They ran a skills session with Years 3 and 4, followed by a Q&A session.

Winter Trials

On Friday 3rd March, eighteen St Xavier's students travelled to Tamworth to compete at the Diocesan Winter Trials.

Congratulations to the following who were selected in the Diocesan Teams to compete at the Poliding Trials early next term:

Soccer- Maggie Brown and Grace Baker

League- Lachlan Smith and Gus Simpson

Also a special mention to Charlotte Duncan (netball), George Russell (league) and Edward Martin, Josie Knapman, Eva Kelly,  Eden Molenkamp (soccer) who progressed to the Possible Probables but narrowly missed out on selection.

Cross Country

The Primary Cross Country will be held on Thursday 6 April at the Soccer Fields and ending at the school. It will start at 9.30am.

The Infants Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 5 April at Kitchener Oval. It will start at 9.30am.

Golf, AFL, Diving and Softball Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are now open for the following sports:

Golf (Boys & Girls)

AFL (Boys & Girls)

Diving (Boys & Girls)

Softball (Boys & Girls)

Expressions of interest forms are to be completed by the parents/guardians of the child wishing to nominate.

As these sports have limited nominations, we do not host trials for them. All expressions of interest are gathered, and then information is directed to parents and schools when EOIs are completed.
