The Importance of Arrival Time

At Our Lady's, we are promoting full school attendance. This includes being on time, every single day. The reason why we ask that families ensure their child is on time each day is to ensure they are not missing critical learning and instruction.

Every single morning, our students meet with their classroom teacher to talk about the day. They complete the classroom roll, pray and talk about what is coming up during the day. This information is vital for school success. Children need to know what is happening throughout the day. If your child is late, they miss this information. Turning up late is also a huge challenge for students who dislike the feeling of being late. Walking into a room where everyone else knows what is happening is intimidating for a child. 

We are asking that all families consider this and push to be on time, each and every day.
