2B Mathmatics
In Mathematics we created a big graph showing our favourite pets!
Learning Multiply & Divide :)
2B engages in buddy style learning in Mathematics. Students worked with a partner to complete Maths based challenges.
In Mathematics one group played a game to underpin learning in subtraction.
2B HSIE
In HSIE we actively engaged in learning about lizards’ shelter and animals that shelter in trees. Students enjoyed using the sand tray from the Learning Centre and a tree branch from Mr Green’s farm to explore new learning opportunities.
During the term we have also been learning about under water habitats. We had several sensory activities to support written learning.
We have also been learning about what animals shelter in trees and why trees are a good habitat for some creatures. God is a good creator. 2B has been enjoying hands on learning opportunities to support written work.
2B A big house
2B engaged in collaborative learning and made a house in HSIE to help us revise our learning about homes/shelters. The whole class contributed to the project.
Stage 2 Engineers
Year 3 and Year 4 have been engineering towers in the ISC to be like Rosie Revere, in the book Rosie Revere, Engineer. Their task was to create the tallest tower out of straws in 10 minutes. We had some fantastic collapses and some amazing heights reached. Well done Stage 2!
