REFLECTION

During this time of uncertainty, the whole world is struggling through weeks, days and months of disruptions.  We have all felt times of helplessness and despair, with fear and anxiety over what the future holds.  This fear is related to future social and economic impacts, as well as the painful, deeply spiritual consequence of being deprived of the Sacraments.

Psalm 23, Jesus the Good Shepherd, provides solace in these times of isolation.  The Psalm reminds us that Jesus is the shepherd and guardian of our souls, drawing us near to calm our hearts and relieve  our fears with the love and mercy of God's Word.

At this time we especially hold in our thoughts and prayers the Morris family who are mourning the loss of their grandfather.  Please pray for the family, asking God to be their shepherd, drawing them close to Him and easing their suffering.
