The WOODSHED - Year 4
As part of their Faith Life unit, 'If You're Happy and You Know It!' focussing on healthy minds and healthy bodies, the Year 4 students went on an excursion just across Nepean Highway to the Woodshed gym for a session with Sam Wood. The session was focussed around fitness, wellbeing and teamwork. The students really enjoyed Sam's enthusiasm and fun activities he had planned for them.
Year 3/4 Choir @ Princeton Aged Care
The Year 3/4 members of the choir traveled to the Princeton Aged Care home last Friday to sing for the residents there as part of their Mother’s Day celebrations. The choir was amazing and the elderly residents were very appreciative and blown away by the talents of our young choir members. Well done to Mrs Bouras and Mrs D’Rozario for their help in preparing the students. They were also treated to a performance by the Gregorian Brothers, ARIA award winning guitar players. Thanks to Princeton Aged Care for making us feel welcome and continuing our strong community partnership.

Congratulations to Dewi M for winning the competition. Here is her winning entry.
What Does Anzac Day Mean To Me
I listen to the blaring sounds of the trumpet.
The sweet sound of the last post,
On the memorable day that I love most.
I think of the soldiers, who fought for Australia,
and the returned veterans in full regalia.
I think of the poppies, that are the loveliest red,
and the brave soldiers, whose hearts almost bled.
I think of the guns, that ruined lives,
and I pray for the ceased ; and the ones that survived.
I think of the wreaths, that are laid down before us,
and I think of what the war took from us.
There are people who are broken, on this Anzac day,
there are also people, who are grateful, happy and gay.
The most important thing is that we are all here,
some far away, and some quite near.

Seesaw is designed to give families an immediate and personalized window into their child’s school day. It also is a valuable ongoing reporting system that allows you to like, leave comments and engage in your child's learning with ease. Let's face it, we are all very busy, but if you could spare 5 minutes a day to comment on your child's hardwork, it can make a huge difference to their learning.
Commenting is the most valuable tool for you involvement in Seesaw. Here are a few tips!
Ask a question! Encourage your child to respond to you
Give them some positive feedback - tell them what they have done well!
Give them some advice - is there something they may have forgot to add!
If you haven't done so already - please give our schools facebook page a like! It's a great way to see all the exciting things that are happening in our school community.
