Investigating Energy Production

Students are getting hands on with their first practical experiment in Unit 3/4 Chemistry.

We were investigating the energy release from different fuels. We investigated a range of fuels, including methanol and ethanol, both of which have been used as substitutes for petrol.

This experiment forms part of the students' first Area of Study in Unit 3: What are the options for energy production?
