Student Representative Council

Student making a difference in our school

Semester One SRC

Our new SRC will start in two weeks' time!  The SRC is a student group led by the school captains and Public Relations Captains and supported by the Wellbeing Leader.

The SRC will discuss and put into place action regarding issues that are brought up by the students and occasionally the school. Issues can range from cyber safety and positive relationships to possibly organising events for the community to enjoy.

Students from Year 1 to 6 have the opportunity to put their hand up for SRC election and the students in their year level selected one boy and one girl to represent their level during the SRC meetings. As we are all about fair and equitable opportunity, students who have been SRC in 2019 or 2020, cannot be SRC this year. The position of SRC during a normal school year is held for one semester.

The meetings of the SRC are every fortnight on Thursday and will go for approximately 30 minutes. The SRC members will then report back to their respective levels and gain feedback from the students to report back to the SRC the next week.

The students who were elected for the SRC will be formally announced and receive their SRC badges during our Monday morning Assembly in Week 6, 1st March 2021and the first meeting will be held on Thursday 4th March at 1.50 PM.

Kind Regards,
