Music News – Term 4, Week 10

Planning week has been a busy week with students finalizing work and teachers planning for 2021.

Green Screen and Graduation projects have been polished and perfected.

Students are presenting all kinds of interesting and diverse musical treats to their classes. I even had a Christmas Carol performed in Dutch. Amazing, given my son lives in The Netherlands – it brought a tear to my eye.

Strings

It was wonderful to see all the parents at the before school rehearsal on Wednesday morning. One resourceful family set up a picnic blanket. What a great idea! Maybe next year we have a breakfast picnic show?!

After the show, the grade three students created an arch of bows for the year six students to graduate through and cross over to their high school life.

We wish the year sixes every success and hope they will have life-long enjoyment of music.

Many thanks to the parents who arrived early to help set up, those that took photos, and those who remained after for the pack up.

Once again, thank you to Liz, Anneliese and all the strings teachers.

Please enjoy the pictures and videos for this week.
