Can you believe that there is only 24 more sleeps until Christmas Day! This year has been a rocky one to say the least so let’s end it on a colourful note!

This year the Lockyer Valley Regional Council supported by Lockyer Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites children aged 12 and under to participate in the Christmas Carnival Colouring Competition.

There are three age categories:

  • 3 – 6 years
  • 7 – 9 years
  • 10 – 12 years

There will be one winner per age category and the prize is a $50 Lockyer Valley Gift Card to spend at participating Lockyer Valley Businesses.

Competition is open now and closes Tuesday 15 December. Winners will be contacted on Thursday 17 December and announced on stage at the Lockyer Valley Christmas Carnival on Friday 18 December at Lake Apex Parklands.

. Completed entry forms can be lodged in specially marked boxes at:

  • Lockyer Valley Regional Council offices at Gatton and Laidley
  • Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre
  • The Independent office, North Street, Gatton

Entering is a wonderful way to get the children involved in their community, express their creative/colourful side and a bonus, possibly winning a prize! I hope to see lots of entries this year.

If you are needing printed copies of the Entry Form please respond to this email with how many you require or I can be contacted on 5462 0379.

Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could include the below paragraph in any weekly newsletters that your School distributes between now and the 15 December:
