December Excitement

Not too many more school days for 2020 - the year has been the most unique year in most of our lifetimes.  As educators, never have we learned so much in such a short time and changed the mode of delivering education.  What a blessing it has been that we only had to sustain these changes for such a short period of time.  Even though we haven't been together as a school community like we normally would, I feel like some of our connections have been strengthened.  I acknowledge and appreciate your efforts to keep us safe over this time.  My greatest wish for Christmas this year, that 2021 brings with it a safety for the world, that we can go back to the ways of connection that we took for granted.

Carols in the Grove

We are so excited that we can hold this event this year!  We will have some sanitising stations set up around.  All family members are invited & we ask you to social distance in your family groups.  As always if you are unwell or experiencing COVID symptoms please stay away.  Bring your chairs & rugs along.  The P&C will be catering a BBQ dinner.  Please register through the QR included here or from our website, all families must register.

School Resumes

We welcome students back on Wednesday 27th January 2021.  Staff are back the previous week & we will have an open day for parents to purchase uniforms & collect pre-orders. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page & class dojo for information.

Thanks

At the end of the year we all are feeling tired and anxious about the amount we have to do to get there!  Thanks for your kindness to all our staff as we hit our stress buttons to high! Remember to take some time for your own well being & for your children also, they have worked hard this year in unusual circumstances.  They have just completed assessments & will be feeling tired and stressed also.  The solution is always kindness! 

I wish to say a heart felt thanks to all our school community for your wonderful support this year.  I am so blessed to be part of this school and am grateful each day for the wonderful families that make up our school.
