2021 Annual Interhouse Swimming Carnival

The Annual Interhouse Swimming Carnival is to be held on Thursday February 11 at the Hamilton Olympic Swimming Pool.

All students are to wear correct sport uniform to school. Students will travel by bus to the pool after roll call and an assembly in the courtyard. Students may change into house colours once at the pool. NO paper streamers or body paint may be used/worn.

Students should consider forecast weather to ensure appropriate clothing and resources for cool/wet/hot weather.

Students must remember to bring:

  • bathers/ towel
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • food for the day
  • water

All students will be encouraged to participate in the full House swim to gain points for their respective houses.

The council canteen will not be running again this year, but a barbecue will be available. Please ensure that students bring enough food and water for the day.

At the conclusion of the Swimming Carnival, students catching buses from Baimbridge College will be walked there; some bus travellers and boarders will be ferried back to school by bus before it returns to the Hamilton Olympic Swimming Pool. The Casterton and Balmoral buses will collect students from the pool.

At the end of the carnival, students will be dismissed from the pool, in full sport uniform.
