MPS DISCO & FAMILY PICNIC
The rain held off long enough for many of our MPS families to join in the fun on Sunday afternoon at the MPS Family Picnic & Disco. It was a great opportunity for parents to socialize and debrief on the year that's been, and for the children, young and old, to dance the day away!! There was a lot of laughter, happy faces and some serious moves on the dance floor.
Special thanks to Jackson Harper, an MPS graduate and our DJ extraordinaire, for his fantastic playlist and patience with the crowd as some of our potential stars took to the stage for their 5 minutes of fame!!
Thank you to the volunteers, who offered their time & assisted on the day. Please know your help was very much appreciated, whether it was serving pizza, cooking the BBQ, supervising the dance floor, roaming security and/or cleaning up.
A special thanks to Trish Psofimis, Sonia Ingravalle, Tanya & Phil Gardiner, Matt & Anna Noonan, Asha McIlwaine and the Grade 6 Slushie Stall operators. Without parents like you, these events would simply not happen. A big thank you also to Bec and Rick Jackson from Bakers Delight Oakleigh, Oakleigh Links, Chadstone and Ashburton for once again donating bread for the BBQ. Thanks to ZESTS’s Pizza for continuing to support MPS.
Most importantly, thank you to the SC&F committee, who continue to put on these fantastic events for our MPS School Community. In particular, the disco would not have been possible without Katie Griffin and Joe Jones. Well done!
