CANTEEN
CANTEEN LUCKY DIP IS BACK $6.50
Due to the running down of our canteen stocks over the final 2 weeks of school, please explain to your child that they may not get exactly the food they ordered from now on. We will endeavour to supply what is required until this Thursday, but if you have a fussy eater, please DON’T send them with a lunch order as we will not be swapping or taking food back because they 'don’t like that'.
From now until Wednesday 17 December, which is the last day of canteen orders, we will also be doing LUCKY DIP lunches – simply put $6.50 in a bag with your name and class, and write LUCKY DIP. Your child will be supplied with a lunch which has a main meal, plus a snack and drink (or frozen treat) worth more than the $6.50 you will pay.
$6.50 LUCKY DIP will be the ONLY option from this Friday 12 December onwards.
Please note: Sushi only MAY be ordered as usual on lunches up until the last day, and children may get sushi as part of a LUCKY DIP lunch.
Finally, a huge thank you goes out to of all my helpers who have put their hands up this term with the warmer weather making the canteen window very busy. You know who you are and I truly appreciate all of the mums (and a couple of dads) who have helped out.
Canteen Volunteer of the year goes to Cheryl Brown for her help EVERY Thursday this year. She is a champion Anzac and Pizza maker!
Hopefully you have all had a bit of fun, and I know your children love seeing you there (especially when you give them and their friends treats!).
See you all again next year in 2015 – I’ll be in touch to work out a roster for Term 1 once I have a list of new Prep parents wanting to help.
Cheers and have a safe and happy holiday,

eSMART TIP
STOP, BLOCK, TELL
If your child receives a message or email that is threatening or rude, they should 'STOP, BLOCK, TELL'. First step is to tell your child to stop responding to the abuse and then block those people sending threatening or rude messages if they continue. Let your child know that if they are being bullied, or know someone else who is, they should tell a trusted adult.
Please find attached further information.
LIBRARY BOOK RETURNS
Well done to everyone who has brought books back to the IRC. Now that it is December, there is no more borrowing, which will help us keep track of all of the books. Please check at home to see if you have any to return.
Also, the IRC has a box full of library bags. If your child has lost a borrowing bag, please check the box.
