CHEER
The talented McKinnon Secondary cheer team is a group of 25 Year 7 students led by Daina Harris (Year 12) and Francesca Wood (Year 11). Our group began training in the middle of Term 1 and we had our first performance at cross country this term. Plenty of hard work was put into the thrilling performance and we were so excited!
The cheer team meets on Wednesday lunchtimes and during these sessions, our coaches choreograph dances which are heaps of fun. During rehearsals, the cheer team puts in lots of effort and energy to make the dance amazing! Cheer is also about creating friendships and having plenty of laughs. We can’t wait for our next performance!
