School Council Election outcome for 2022

A couple of weeks ago we called for nominations for parent representatives for College Council. I would like to thank those parents who have agreed to take on this important role, some for the first time while others have re-nominated. The parent members of College Council will be Rodney Cornwall, Shelley Christiansen, Stuart Lord, Melissa Martin, Petone Toeleiu, Jane Gleeson and James Musgrove. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing parent College Council member – Mary Moutsias. Thank you for your willingness to be involved and your contribution to the College. 

The two vacant Community positions will be filled by council soon. 

There are two student members on council, these positions are currently unfilled and we will be working with our student body to identify two students who are excited to represent all students and add the important element of student voice to College Council. 

Staff representative positions on council will be myself, Mary Mesquita, Sofi Sword, Frazer Thomas, Annette Spence and Joshua Wolter.

College Council meets 8 times per year and its main role is school governance including many key policies, finance,  facilities and school uniform.  Our first meeting for the new School Council is scheduled for Monday 21st March 2022.
