Junior School Report

What an amazing first term we have continued to have in our Junior school. Students have really embraced being back at school and it has been very exciting to see so many students getting involved in College activities. We have everything from Interschool Sport, Incursions, Excursions, Assemblies, Camps, House activities & Student leadership programs on offer.

Our Year 7’s have just returned from their very exciting camp at Kangaroobie. Going to camp allows students to experience environments that they may not ever have the opportunity to learn about and try activities that develop problem solving skills and teamwork. Camp is often a highlight of the year for many students and can help form the basis of many lifelong friendships. We are also very proud to announce the Year 7 captains for Acacia campus-  Vanessa Kov & Blake Ariens and Banksia campus- Rosa Galban & Jacklen Manuel.

The Year 8 students have been very busy again completing Geography field work at multiple local locations, watching a live bilingual theatre production of the Jungle Book to further develop students' understanding of culture & language, participating in Digital Thumbprint an online safety program and attending the stunning Artvo’s Fantasy themed immersive gallery, allowing our students to interact with ocean, polar ice caps, space and forest styled optical illusions.
