Carroll House

We have reached the end of another year and the Carroll House students have definitely finished well. This has included celebrating Christmas with Homegroup lunches, secret Santa and Christmas bon bons.
At the beginning of this term, we welcomed our new Carroll House Captains Rebecca Salmon and Mitchell Foster. They have already had an impact on Carroll House with the start of a new Tuesday extended Homegroup activities competition that includes 3 legged races, tug-a-war and kahoot quizzes. Carroll 5 won the last Tuesday extended Homegroup competition, so they shared in a hot chip lunch together.
Rebecca and Mitchell have also been getting to know members of the other Homegroups in Carroll House. This has allowed them to share their ideas and give Carroll House members the opportunity to approach them and ask questions about activities going on in Carroll House. Mitchell and Rebecca also presented the Swimming Carnival theme to the students so they could be prepared for the Swimming Carnival in 2017. We really hope that everyone will be covered in purple.
We will be celebrating the Carroll House Youth Mass at Sunday evening Mass at Sacred Heart Church in early March next year. It would be fantastic to see students attend with their families. We have had so many students willing to participate in the Mass and we hope it will be a joyous occasion.
I would like to thank all the Carroll House staff for all the care and support they provide for their students. I wish all the students a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and a very safe holiday.
Mrs Virginia Baggio
Carroll House Leader
