GO RED, GREEN, BLUE AND YELLOW....

Moorabbin Primary House Cross Country is on and your children have been practising their running!!!    All the students are involved and are asked to wear their house colours on the day – Sadgrove (red), Lowden (Green), Hawker (Blue) and Dendy (Yellow).

The start of the race is with the Preps huffing and puffing after recess at 11.45 and will progress to grade 1 and finish with the Grade 6 students.

Everyone will receive a ribbon and a Zooper Dooper as a reward for completing the run!! Parents, it is finally time for you to come and join in the Moorabbin Primary sports fun again and support your children during their run. We are looking forward to seeing you all there, cheering the runners on!!  Cross your fingers for a lovely day.

DISTRICT SWIMMING 2022

Despite the cool and cloudy day our Moorabbin swimmers showed great enthusiasm and a few nerves before their races at GESAC. Everyone swam their best against the 7 other schools and many students did very well. We had our best result every this year and returned to school with a collection of blue, red and green ribbons.

Congratulations to Ned Bligh, Mya Dobson, Alea Saluni, Maxwell Worrell, Miiko Smallwood, Gracie Mallett and our 9/10 relay teams – Ned Bligh, Sam Wende, Maxwell Worrell, Billy Mallett, Mya Dobson, Asha Lightfoot, Mia Begen and Phoebe Marshall who won ribbons for their events. Maxwell will be swimming in Backstroke at the Kingston Swimming competition on Monday 21st March. We wish him all the best!!!!

Thank you to all the children for having a go, parents for getting your children to the trials prior to the competition and for assisting me on the morning. Thank you also to Mrs Young and parents Andrew and Amy for helping on the day, and also all the parents who came along to cheer us on. It worked!!!! We all appreciate it.
