Class of the Week!

Each week in PE, one class is selected as “Class of the Week”. This class is chosen because they have shown the school values of Respect, Compassion, Integrity and Resilience more than any other class in the school that week.

It has become a very tough competition with classes working really hard to be the best of the best.

This year Miss Schie needed some help to create a “PE Class of the Week Poster” and so she decided to ask the students to help her.

Well done to everyone who made a poster. There were so many amazing posters, it was so hard to choose just one winner! The Specialist team helped Miss Schie judge which posters would win the competition. It was decided to have 4 winners, one for each term.

The Specialist teachers especially loved the posters with lots of colour, clear and bold writing and PE themed.

Winners are:

  • Eliza T and Makayla H, 3/4D

A special mention to Setayesh in 3/4B who wrote on her poster this sentence: “To every grade, you can get class of the week if you put your mind to it”

If you would like to see all the posters submitted, they will be going on display soon on the windows of the BER. You can have a look and see if you agree with the teachers' decisions and pick your favourites. Miss Schie will make an announcement next week to let you know where to go looking for the posters at play time.

Good luck to the all the classes – maybe you might win PE class of the week next week?
