House Sport

As part of the House Sports Program at Mazenod, the House Swimming Carnival will take place on Monday 7th March. The carnival is a fantastic opportunity for students to participate in a variety of swimming events and it is expected all Year 7-10 students attend. There will be several activities on the day including swimming races, relays, and other events to maximise participation. All levels of swimming will be catered for and there will be qualified lifeguards on the day to ensure the safety of all competitors. The day also gives ACC Swimming coaches the chance to identify possible team members for the ACC Swimming Carnival, which is being held on Wednesday, March 30th. Students will be allowed to come to school in sports uniform and will need to bring their house colour polo top to wear to the event. Parents can attend but must abide by policies implemented by the recreation centre.
- Year 7 & 8 students will leave Mazenod at the start of Homeroom and be returning to school at approximately 11.30pm for normal timetabled classes.
- Year 9 & 10 students will leave Mazenod at the start of Period 4 and be returning to school at approximately 2.15pm.
- Select Year 11 & 12 students will be invited to participate as part of their preparation for the ACC Swimming Carnival
