On The Day

To enter and exit the school grounds on Sports Day (for contact tracing purposes in line with COVID-19 management plans and Department for Education guidelines) your ticket will need to be scanned to arrive and leave. Tickets will need to be presented electronically as paper tickets can be transferred which will present contact tracing problems. Please QR Code upon entry. A manual sign-in will be available. Masks are not mandatory.

Entry will be via the flag pole gate on Malurus Avenue and the Brian Street gate only. Entry and exit times are as follows:

• 8.30 am – 9.00 am
• 10.30 am – 11.00 am
• 12.45 pm – 1.15 pm

Exit outside of these times may be permitted upon request. Gates will be staffed by parent volunteers who will scan you in and out. This will provide us with an electronic record of all movements.

This process worked well in 2020 and in order to provide our kids with the best experience possible as well as have families onsite for Sports Day and the Colour Fun Run in 2021, this is what we need to do. We are all happy to commit to the work required to make this happen if it means families can be there to support their kids, albeit perhaps in a different capacity to what we are used to pre pandemic.
