Program News
Our new trikes and helmets are proving popular with the children. It’s great to see the outside spaces being well utilised, particularly now that we are enjoying some warmer weather.
Artificial turf has been installed outside the Primary School building. This space is adjacent to the OSHC building and provides an additional outdoor space during after school care and holiday program sessions. Planning is underway to install a shade sail over the artificial turf.
This week students were able to explore the new Chill Out space created by our OT’s. The room includes: big white floor mat, bubble tube, ball pit, light up cube, CD player, tent, vibrating cushion, and other massage/light up sensory toys.
An additional room was made available this week for the OSHC program. This coincided with the implementation of staff and student room allocations, which will see the same students and educators allocated to the same room each day.

Donations
Donations are always welcomed. If you have items at home that you no longer require and wish to donate to the OSHC program, it would be greatly appreciated. We are currently seeking a mud kitchen. Pick-up can be arranged if required.
Community Partnerships
We are exploring potential future partnerships with local community organisations and individuals and welcome expressions of interest from individuals interested in running an incursion or school visit. Areas of student interest include: cooking, gardening, music, art and sport.
Curriculum Day
The OSHC program will not be running on Monday, November 1st.
Term 4 Enrolments
Places are still available in our after school care program for Term 4. Please contact the provider via yarrabah@theircare.com.au or 0476 004 524 to enrol your child. The service is free for all Yarrabah students to attend and runs from 3pm-6pm during school terms.
Please read the brochure attached for further information about the program.
The enrolment, permission to release information, and priority of access forms are attached and need to be completed prior to children using the program.
