Volunteers - expressions of interest for examination support Years 7-10

Thank you to those who have contacted Diverse Learning to assist with examination support.

Later this term exams are scheduled, commencing 8 November.  For this to occur the College requires volunteers to assist.  These volunteers are essential volunteers and are therefore permitted into the school.  It is a requirement, however, that these volunteers provide:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate and
  • Working with Children Check

If you would like to assist a student to access the exam paper by reading or assist a student to respond to the questions by writing, it would be greatly appreciated if you could contact our Diverse Learning Team. agunns@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au

Lights, Camera, Pius!

The fifth annual St Pius X Film Festival is taking place this term. Once again it is a virtual festival. All young filmmakers are invited to submit their entries. Films should be no longer than 3 minutes and must have been made this year and can be about any theme; have been made as class projects; any genre such as comedy, documentary, horror, sci-fi, action, romance, animation etc - it must be General (G) Rated. There are prizes and awards on offer! This calls for imagination and inventiveness. Films could be COVID-themed. It is great to see films made by students from all years.
