What's Been Happening?

Steptember is on again.

This year, one of our students, Maddy Tucker, has signed up to complete the 10,000 step a day challenge throughout September to raise money for Cerebral Palsy.

Maddy has been watching the #Paralympics, and has decided to participate in Steptember to help raise funds for CP (Cerebal palsy). She would love it if you are able to help her achieve her fundraising goal to raise a total of $100 or more.

Maddy will be completing the challenge of a minimum of 10000+ steps per day.

Thank you to everyone that is able to help her achieve this goal.

Visual Arts

In art this week, our seniors have created a surreal picture by combining at least 3 unrelated objects to form a new dreamlike reality.

Years 3 and 4 students have overlapped 3 of their shoes in an artwork. Years 1 and 2 have made origami bears. Foundation drew a snail to welcome spring.

Japanese

This week Sensei Andrews teaches the staff to say Wonderful in Japanese

SUBARASHII = Wonderful.

This week the Year 1 and 2 students had a fun Crazy Hair Day

R U OK day

One of the activities that the Seniors did was to write a letter to their teacher recommending a friend who's been a star and has been a comfort to them.

Reading some of the letters really made my week! This is a letter written by one of our senior students recommending his friend.

Thanks to Kahlan for sending her photo from her activities on R U OK day.
