Parents and Friends

Re-Imagining the role of Parents and Friends

Blackfriars has a long and proud tradition of support from the broader school community, led by the Parents and Friends group and its various iterations over many years. However, with the pressures of a modern lifestyle, times have changed and harnessing the support of volunteers for groups such as these has become more and more difficult.

As a school community, we are totally committed to seeing parental involvement retained in some way but are keen to hear the suggestions of our families as to the best way to do this. So – we are REIMAGINING OUR PARENTS AND FRIENDS.

To have your say in what parental/community support could look like in the future of Blackfriars, please come to a special meeting next Tuesday 12 June at 7.00pm at the school. We’d love to hear how you think our parents and friends community can best support the life of the school and the impact it has on your sons in this generation and those to come.
