Year 9 Zoo Excursion

The Year 9s had fun and learnt a lot at their zoo excursion

Year 9 Zoo Excursion

The Year 9s recently visited the Adelaide Zoo for an excursion for both Geography and Science. Students have been studying Biomes and Food Security in Geography and Ecosystems and Adaptions in Science.

The boys had the opportunity to observe the animals and to read the information provided by the Zoo regarding how habitats are affected by agriculture and development. The animals were really active and put on an entertaining show. The boys coped well with what was a rather chilly day, and we were blessed not to experience a torrential downpour as forecasted.

The teachers who attended would like to thank the students for their impeccable behaviour and enthusiasm on the day.
