Primary Co-Curricular

Report – Week 3

There are only two weeks left of the winter season for our football and soccer teams. Lacrosse, basketball and chess run deeper into the term.

The Primary A Football team went down to a strong St Michael’s outfit by 7 goals. Joseph Kelly, Nicolas Pamula and Sam Vanderwoude continue their good seasons.

The Primary A soccer team scored first against Sacred Heart courtesy of a goal to our Korean exchange student, Ken. Sacred Heart proved too tough though and were victorious 5-1.

Mr Niedzwiecki’s Blue soccer team had mixed results with a close win and a close loss against St Andrews. Mrs LaForgia’s Black team played against St Peters here at home.

Both lacrosse teams went down to our affiliate Eagles teams. The gold team put up a good fight to go down 9-13 whilst the Blue team ran out of petrol after half time and lost 6-17.

Cross Country

Well done to the 25 boys who represented the school at the recent Catholic Schools Cross Country championships held at the PAC parklands. Please see the separate article for more information.

Table Tennis

Good luck to the primary table tennis team that competes this Friday at the SAPSASA Teams Championships.

Cancellations

With the run of recent inclement winter weather, some fixtures are being cancelled. For information on cancellations, check out the SEQTA Parent Portal for updates. Generally decisions around cancelling training or fixtures happens by lunchtime of the day involved.
