Catholic Schools Cross Country

On Thursday 10 August, the Primary Cross Country team ventured to the PAC / CBC parklands for the annual Catholic Schools Carnival. The 2km course provided a tough challenge for the boys involved. This year we took a team of 25 students who were selected from the school trials.

Each race consisted of approximately 200-300 students and all races were highly competitive. Congratulations to all students who represented Blackfriars Priory School on the day. Mr Corey Leditschke and I noted that the behaviour and attitude of the boys was excellent and everyone represented the school in a terrific manner. Those boys who attended for the first time enjoyed the experience.

Only one of our boys, Sebastian Zajaczkowski, placed inside the top ten. He finished 9th in the U11 B division. All of our boys gave it their best which is all that can be asked of them.

Thank you to Mr Leditschke and Mrs Hutt for their assistance on the day and to all athletes for their participation. It was an enjoyable day!
