Library News
Well we are quickly approaching the end of the term and as usual it seems to have flown by.
The Senior Library has been the host of some recent school events for the Year 10’s including the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Showcase and a Slam Poetry Performance with Philip Wilcox for English students. Next week will see a History performance for the Year 10’s as well. It is great to have the space being used for such a diverse range of activities.
Refugee Week has been the focus of library displays and shortly we will be preparing for the big event of the year… Book Week. This will be next term in Week 5. The theme this year is ‘Reading is my Secret Power.’ Keep it in mind!
We would like to remind students to return any text books not required next semester, and to get their holiday reading organised by renewing or borrowing their items before the end of the term. Also, a reminder that the Senior Library will be closing at 4.00 pm on the last day of the term, Friday 28 June.
All the best to everyone for the upcoming holidays!
