Year 4/5 Footy Players
There has been a lot happening in the Primary School this past fortnight.
The Year 4/5 footy team had a tough game against Immanuel at Immanuel, eventually going down by around six goals. The Year 6/7 boys started really well against Pulteney but the second and third quarters saw them trailing at the final change. A big last quarter wasn’t quite good enough and the boys lost by a kick.
The Year 3/4/5 soccer teams had mixed results with the Black team going down to Scotch and the Blue boys running away with a 5-3 win. The Year 6/7A team ventured to Gleeson a little undermanned and went down 3-4. Mr Niedzwiecki’s Year 6/7B team played their best game of the season, losing narrowly to Saint Peters.
The basketball teams produced a mixture of results with the Year 4/5 team losing 0-12 to Saints Green. The Black team lost to East Adelaide whilst the Blue boys had an 8-4 win against Walky.
Parental Reminder - Punctuality
In regard to co-curricular events, it is required that parents are in attendance at the programmed finish time of any game or training session. In recent weeks, some staff have been waiting for parents to arrive in excess of 30 minutes after the completion of the session. Please be prompt as our generous staff also have personal and family commitments to tend to after sporting events.
SAPSASA Football
This week Liam Waters, Jake Martin, Lucas Diorio, Jack Henry and Levi Harte (all Year 7s) are representing the North Adelaide District in Division 3 of the Statewide Carnival. We wish all boys well during this exciting week.
SAPSASA Knockout Football
The Year 6/7 boys take on Walkerville PS and Trinity Gardens PS on Tuesday 25 June in the second round of the SAPSASA Knockout tournament. We wish them well!
Training – Week 9
There will not be any Year 3/4/5/6 or 7 soccer, football or basketball training during the final week of term. Soccer 2 Sports and Auskick will continue as normal.
