Principal's Report

Dear parents and carers,

The fortnight passed has provided students with much to celebrate through NAIDOC Week and World Kindness Day, both providing opportunities for children to explore our school values.  This newsletter edition also celebrates the significant achievements of two of our students; Laurie Tod and Zac Kurzbock.

As we hurtle toward Christmas, plans are well underway for 2021.  Staffing will be finalised and communicated with you in December with class lists being sent home on Tuesday 15th December.  Students will have a transition session with their 2021 teachers in their new classes on Wednesday 16th December.  Our final day for students this year is Thursday 17th December with a 2.30pm finish.

Class placement 2021

During the course of this week, children have been asked to list 5 friends they would like to be in a class with next year.  We guarantee to place your child with at least one person from their list.  Any significant matters parents need to raise in relation to this must be lodged by 4pm today via the link below. Relevant historical requests will need to be updated using the link.  Late requests cannot be accepted.

Prep transition 2021

We have now completed our 3 prep parent information sessions via WebEx and we thank our current parents for supporting this through the Q&A panel.  Next week look forward to welcoming our new prep students for 2021 for their introduction to the school.  Due to COVID-19 regulations, these shorter sessions will be taking place outside of the school day and in small groups.

Kind regards,

Megan
