Pastoral Care News

Welcome back to what will prove to be an exciting and busy term, member of the CAT are selling raffle tickets each lunch time.  With over 35 prizes to be won there is something for everyone.  The concept of the Mega Raffle was a direct response due to one of our MCC families that were involved in an accident which resulted in the tragic death of their father.

The family have additional stress factors impacting on their life at the moment given Visa situations etc. so by following the teachings of St Vincent de Paul we have taken a SEE, THINK and DO approach to best support the immediate needs of the family and hopefully reduce some of the stress factors they are currently experiencing.

The team will continue to sell tickets each lunch time until Friday October 30. I have small booklets (25 tickets) or 100 if anyone is interested in selling on behalf of the school/activity so please contact me for further information.

Tickets are $2 each OR 3 for $5

We are currently trying to organise electronic access to purchase tickets however if necessary money can be left at our front office and I will manually write out tickets in the interim.

We could not hold such an activity without the generosity of families, businesses, individuals and staff so on behalf of the C.A.T and the family I would like to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANKYOU!

In addition, thank you to~ Colleen”s Cookies and Cake Creations, The Marcon family, Hellen Panerello, Yardley Family, student Winter Rosengreen and our wonderful MCC staff.

A new term has the students returning in their summer uniforms.  I would gratefully accept any donations of unwanted clothing items to help out families in need.

The final activity for 2020 will be the St Vincent De Pauls Christmas hampers, more details will be included in the next edition of the newsletter along with the names of our winning recipients from the Mega Raffle.

Have a wonderful weekend, stay safe and happy.

Kind regards
