Spare Parts Puppet Theatre Performance
On Wednesday the PP - Yr 8 students (and the Drama elective yr 9/10 students) were treated to a performance titled 'Hare Brain', by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre performers Danny and Shaun. The show was extremely clever and very captivating. An Object Theatre Workshop was also held for students in years 5-8 (plus drama elective students in yr 9/10). In this workshop they learned what makes a puppet, how to transform everyday objects into puppets, used improvisation skills to develop short group performances, and had a blast doing it!
D&T Skills
Our Secondary students have completed bird boxes and feeders in their Design and Technology class with Mr Goulter. The boys have given their completed projects to the Shire, who will arrange to hang them in different locations around town. Keep an eye out for these great pieces around Muka!
Brilliant Brains
BB started up again on Thursday for our 2021 Kindy students. The children practiced their shape and number recognition, gross motor skills (the children had to catch fish and rescue sea animals stuck in ice!) and enjoyed building their own aquarium!
