Hi everyone,

Welcome back to Term 4!  We hope you had a restful school holidays and have enjoyed the recommencement of face to face learning this week (we certainly have!).

As many of you will be aware, the PA usually supports a range of social-connection and fundraising activities throughout the year. However, given the extra-ordinary circumstances this year, it should come as no surprise that we’ve needed to cancel or postpone most of our usual activities, including the Trivia Night, the 2nd hand uniform shop, Bunning's BBQ, Mother's and Father's day stalls, Parent Talks, and more.

We've instead shifted our attention to how we might be able to better support school families who are doing it tough as a result of the wide-reaching impacts of COVID-19 and the Victorian lockdowns.

One of the initiatives that we'd like to share with you is a food cupboard that we're planning on installing in the coming weeks, in collaboration with the School Wellbeing team.   The food cupboard will be available to any family who’d like to access it, and we hope that having this installed and available at our school will provide at least a little bit of extra support to those who need it at this time.   We'll let you know when it's up and running.  If you'd like to donate goods for the cupboard, these will also be very welcome. A few other items the PA have been discussing include:

• setting up a competition to decide the theme of the next Trivia Night (timing TBC)
• ideas for welcoming Prep families in 2021
• an update of the PA branding
