BOOK CLUB NEWS
Welcome back to Term 2 everyone! Hope the holidays were full of family and friend fun times with some Easter eggs as well!
Issue 3 catalogues for Book Club have been handed out to all children this week. Orders are to be made using the LOOP system online and need to be finalised by Thursday 4 May. Books will still be delivered back at school to your child’s class.
Take some time with your child to sit and look at the catalogue as there are some great books in this issue.
If looking for cheap birthday presents, look no further than
The Great Australian Picture Books. These books are only $39 for 10 books; that’s only $3.90 for a hard cover book and you will have up to 10 birthday presents covered at once!!
There is also the book 'Zog' about an accident prone dragon for only $2, or the classic 'Horton and the Kwuggerbug' by Dr. Seuss for only $8.
As Mother’s Day is approaching, you could also order 'Some Mums' by Nick Bland for only $8, so your child could read mum a story book on Mother’s Day.
And last but not least, there is a wonderful new picture book entitled We’re All Wonders. The message helps teach empathy, kindness and a greater understanding that it is ok to be different, for only $15.

CANTEEN NEWS
LUNCH ORDER SPECIAL
Honey soy chicken and fried rice is available to order at the special price of $3.00.
For the month of May, the canteen will be trialing soup.
In the first week, May 1-5, pumpkin soup with a bread roll will be available for $4.
CHESS CLUB
If you would like your child to participate in this term's Tuesday lunchtime chess club, please refer to the following flyer.
SECOND HAND UNIFORM SALE TOMORROW- 3.00pm!
Please note that a second hand uniform sale is planned for tomorrow, Thursday 27 April at 3.00pm outside the staffroom.
Nothing over $5! Most items are only $1.
There are plenty of winter unforms available, including a large number of jackets, which will be on sale.
When making a purchase, please carefully check sizes etc. because there is no exchange.
Also, it would be be much appreciated if you could use small change to make a purchase, and please bring your own carry bag.

CSEF REMINDER
The CSEF is an annual payment to the school to be used towards camps, sports and/or excursion expenses for the benefit of eligible students.
Primary school student rate: $125
Please read this notice to check on your eligibility.
CSEF forms are available at the office and should be returned by 30 June 2017.
ENTERTAINMENT BOOK
Our school office is now selling the popular Entertainment Book once again.
These books sell for $70 each and contain thousands of dollars worth of special and discount offers for fine dining restaurants, cafes, informal dining and take away food. There are also offers for arts, leisure and sporting attractions including cinemas, theatre and tourist attractions.
Digital memberships are also available.
