Volleyball SA Academy Program is running a Talent Identification Camp in the April School Holidays!
The camp coaches will focus on teaching Spiking in-depth covering footwork, timing, and arm swings with the aim to generate more power.
If you are keen for this knowledge, view yourself as athletic, nominate asap to attend these camps as only 36 positions will be accepted!

Wings2fly
Drama has been proven over the years to encourage creativity, give children a voice and activate their physical expression. But does it end there? Of course not! When children are given these opportunities they develop all sorts of life skills including team work, discipline, respect for others and self, builds confidence and make new friends. In fact, the wellbeing component of drama for young people is now being heavily researched and the results might surprise you.
Award winning Wings2Fly Theatre was created in Adelaide in 2017 and has gone from strength to strength since then. The new Wings2Fly Junior program is perfect for students in years 1-5 and involves three days of games and rehearsals during the school holidays, followed by an evening performance on the last day - at the lovely Holden Street Theatres in Hindmarsh - with lights, costumes and sets. Every child has a character and a few lines to learn, and is supported by qualified and experienced staff.
It's the perfect introduction to performing arts for those children with a creative streak!

West Torrens Council School Holiday Program
Tuesday 19 April to Friday 29 April GeoExplore - Geocache scavenger hunt Geocaching is a treasure hunt with something for everyone. We have hidden geocaches across West Torrens. Using map coordinates and your phone or other GPS device, can you find them all? Each geocache has a stamp inside, so make sure to get your GeoExplore Passport stamped (found in the Get with the Program brochure), and then collect a giveaway from the Hamra Centre Library.

Tuesday 19 April Prancelot’s Unicorn Academy: a WOW kids drama workshop Welcome to Prancelot’s Unicorn Academy, a school for all magical creatures and special humans like you! Professor Priscilla Prancelot will teach you about the magic and marvels of the Unicorn world, a wondrous world except for Priscilla’s sister the wicked Verucca Shadowhorn! Will you help Priscilla defend the Darkling Forest and prevent Verucca’s plan to destroy it? Venue: Sun Room, Hamra Centre Library, 1 Brooker Terrace, Hilton. Time: 10am - 11am. Ages: 5 to 8 years. S.P.O.O.K.S School for Spies: a WOW kids drama workshop Calling all wannabe super sleuths and undercover agents! Join Ms Penelope Snoopwell at her spy school where she will train you in spy recognition, dealing with explosives and secret missions. Help her detect the double agent from the enemy organisation and restore peace and harmony to the world once more! Venue: West Torrens Auditorium, 1 Brooker Terrace, Hilton. Time: 11.15am - 12.15pm.
