Rahel Abraham 11 Purple
Rahel is a friendly and welcoming student who always greets you with a smile. She is hardworking and enthusiastic in each of her subjects and always shows kindness to others. Rahel has shown dedication in her role in the College production and brings a sense of humour and ‘zest’ to each lesson. Her bubbly personality and positivity are appreciated by her peers and her teachers.
Francesca Papandrea 12 Green
Francesca has had an exceptional start to 2022. She constantly has a smile on her face and is the first person to put her hand up to provide support for any of her peers. She has been described by her teachers as a true “all-rounder”. She is a passionate and dedicated student who works hard in all of her subjects, always working consistently towards achieving the highest of standards. As an integral member of the Senior Student Leadership Team, she has involved herself in all of the events initiated by the leadership group. Francesca represented the College at a leadership seminar in February and made herself very available to the Frayne House Advisor and Sports Captain for both the Swimming and Athletics Carnivals. Her leadership qualities and dedication to her academic studies make her an obvious choice as Student of the Term.
Date: Thursday April 7
Our VCE retreat days will be held on the last student day of Term 1, Thursday April 7. The Year 11 students will travel to the Holy Cross Centre in Templestowe. The Year 12 students will travel Amberley in Lower Plenty. The aims of these Reflection Days are twofold. The first is to provide each student an opportunity to reflect upon their personal and spiritual development. To help us we will be joined by two wonderful musicians, Gen Bryant at Year 11 and Fr Rob Galea at Year 12.
Our second aim is to provide opportunities for further building the team spirit of what are already two great year levels. The Student Leadership Teams have put together a program of lively fun activities for the day.
Date: Tuesday 3 May Term 2
Our next class Mass will be held in Term 2 on Tuesday 3 May at 8.05am. Year 12 students will prepare the mass and parents of our Year 12 students are particularly welcome to join their daughters in the celebration of their Mass.
