School Captains

On the 25th of April, we commemorated the ANZAC’s effort in war.  Our school was invited to participate in an ANZAC memorial held by the Glen Eira City Council.   

Mrs Carlei, chose Tess and I (Darcy), to come along and represent our school in Caulfield Park’s Cenotaph. 

It was an amazing experience and many people turned up. It was very peaceful and respectful. Tess and I got to lay a wreath at the stairs of the cenotaph. We were interested in all the beautiful poems and text including Flanders Fields and The Ode.

Thank you to all the soldiers who died, lived, and fought for this country.
