EASTER

Easter is our most important feast for us:  the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus!

We believe that Jesus is alive!  We believe that Jesus lives!  We believe in the New Life that God promises us all at Easter.

Through Christ's resurrection we are given the opportunity to new life and renewed hope to live as people of God.  This allows His people the wisdom to know what we must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it,

the perseverance to continue to do it, and the strength to complete it.

Last Sunday's Gospel reminded us when Jesus appeared to His Apostles who had gathered together but Thomas was not there.   When Thomas was told that they had seen the risen Lord he did  not believe them. Eight days later they were all together, this time with Thomas, when  Jesus  appeared to them once more. Jesus said to Thomas, ‘You believe because you can see me. Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.’

May this be the driver for us to continue to be people of God and show support to all within our school community whoever we may be.

CARITAS

Thank you so much to all the families for supporting the initiative lead by the our World Justice Leaders.  We are very happy to announce that  combined funds raised for both the Coin Drive and Harmony Day totaled $1,030.30. This is an amazing effort and a strong reflection on our desire to support others who are less fortunate than ourselves. Our World Justice Leaders did a wonderful job in promoting these events and we are very proud of their commitment to their leadership role.

God of Easter,

you raised Jesus from the dead

and give us a share in His new risen life.

May we be filled with the joy of new life at Easter and look for Jesus among the living.

We make our prayer in our Risen Lord’s name. Amen.
