Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Welcome back. We hope the school holidays went well.

Term 1 finished on a big chocolate high with the Easter Raffle putting a smile on many kids’ faces. Thanks to all the families who donated chocolate and helped put the hampers together.  It's always a huge highlight for the students.  The Easter Egg Raffle raised just over $900.

During Term 2 we’re continuing with events that will get the St Anthony’s community together, have a bit of fun, and raising some money along the way.

Mothers' Day Breakfast (Friday 6 May)

A great way to celebrate the amazing mums and carers in the St Anthony’s community. The breakfast will be held in the Padua Pavilion before school – keep an eye out in your inbox and on WhatsApp for more info to come.

Mother’s Day Stall (Friday 6 May)

Following the breakfast, we will be running the Mothers’ Day stall so the students can buy a special little gift or two or three! We need a few volunteers to help out at the stall from 9am to 11am, mainly to take payments and refill the stock tables after each class. Please email the school office if you can help for any or all of that time. Remember you can only volunteer if you are fully vaccinated (three doses) and have a current with a Working With Children Check.

May is BBQ month!

We’ll be putting out the call for volunteers to help with these 2 major fundraising events.

  • Election Day BBQ - Saturday 21 May
    • St Anthony’s will be a polling booth for the upcoming Federal Election which will be a good opportunity for fundraising and to showcase the school. Watch this space.
    • Bunnings BBQ (Moorabbin) – Sunday 28 May

Dads' Day Out

It is coming soon!

Trivia Night

This was such a fun night last time, we just have to do it again. We had originally planned this for June 17th but still need to finalise a few things so the date may change.

All of these events don’t happen without the support of our parent volunteers. Throughout the year each class will be allocated an event to take the lead on organizing it – with the help of the PFA.

Next PFA Meeting

The next PFA meeting is scheduled for 7th June at 7:30pm Padua Pavilion.  We welcome all to attend and look forward to seeing some new faces.
